The primary function of the RN Office Based Infusion Program Manager is to manage, coordinate, conduct and provide safe and efficient patient care for the OBIC programs across Bon Secours Virginia. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1.Orientation/training/onboarding for new OBIC staff members consisting of an organized methodology that promotes assimilation into the OBIC sites.
2.Organize departmental in-service appropriate to new services, processes, policies, procedures, and compliance with regulatory standards.
3.Participate in performance improvement activities per department initiatives as directed by the administrative director.
4.Participate in development of the OBIC training process and implementation.
5.Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of standards of care and practice to ensure evidence-based standards are followed.
6.Provide direct patient care as necessary.
7.Organize OBIC programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
8.Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
9.Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
10. Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
11. Expand program offering and enhance the quality of existing programs.
1.Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
2.Current Virginia licensure as an RN
3.Current BLS certification
4.BSN required, Master's degree preferred. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required
5.Experience with adult and pediatric population. Oncology required
6.Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of computer software packages, including spreadsheets, graphics and word processing
7.Work requires experience in strong team building and a high level of interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with medical and other professional staff
8.Work requires a strong bias for action and being proactive; flexible and agile to handle urgent unexpected ad hoc requests
9.Work requires effective organization and time management skills to ensure all work is completed within planned or requested timeframes
10. Work requires managing and developing necessary standardized processes, workflows, documentation, and training needed to accomplish programs' objectives
11. Travel outside of office is required
