The primary function of the RN Office Based Infusion Program Manager is to manage, coordinate, conduct and provide safe and efficient patient care for the OBIC programs across Bon Secours Virginia. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1.Orientation/training/onboarding for new OBIC staff members consisting of an organized methodology that promotes assimilation into the OBIC sites.
2.Organize departmental in-service appropriate to new services, processes, policies, procedures, and compliance with regulatory standards.
3.Participate in performance improvement activities per department initiatives as directed by the administrative director.
4.Participate in development of the OBIC training process and implementation.
5.Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of standards of care and practice to ensure evidence-based standards are followed.
6.Provide direct patient care as necessary.
7.Organize OBIC programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
8.Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
9.Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
10. Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
11. Expand program offering and enhance the quality of existing programs.

1.Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
2.Current Virginia licensure as an RN
3.Current BLS certification
4.BSN required, Master's degree preferred. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required
5.Experience with adult and pediatric population. Oncology required
6.Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of computer software packages, including spreadsheets, graphics and word processing
7.Work requires experience in strong team building and a high level of interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with medical and other professional staff
8.Work requires a strong bias for action and being proactive; flexible and agile to handle urgent unexpected ad hoc requests
9.Work requires effective organization and time management skills to ensure all work is completed within planned or requested timeframes
10. Work requires managing and developing necessary standardized processes, workflows, documentation, and training needed to accomplish programs' objectives
11. Travel outside of office is required

The Home Infusion Per Diem RN fills an integral role in the clinical operations of the organization, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure infusion therapy can be safely and effectively administered to each home-based patient. * Per diem RNs will be asked to provide schedule availability on a regular basis, and expected to work those days indicated as available unless otherwise called off duty. * This position is part time, at 20 hours per week. Primary Responsibilities: * Travel to provide skilled nursing care for infusion patients in their home * Teach patients and their care givers to achieve the highest level of independence possible in self-care and monitoring of their infusion therapy * Assess the patient's condition and response to therapy, taking action as needed to facilitate achievement of treatment goals * Collaborate with physicians and pharmacists on the patient plan of care and treatment, communicating status changes and implementing new orders as received * Establish trust and build therapeutically effective relationships with patients and their families You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * Active and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) of practice and others as requested * 1 years of experience working as an RN in a clinical care setting that contributes to proficiency in infusion therapy (such as emergency department, intensive care unit, post-anesthesia care unit, or similar setting) * Proficient with Microsoft Office * Willing and able to work independently in home or alternate-site settings * Access to reliable transportation that will enable travel to customer and/or patient sites Preferred Qualifications: * Pediatric experience * Experience administering infusion therapy in a home or alternate-site setting * Knowledge of the Infusion Nursing Society (INS) standards of practice, policies, and procedures * Knowledgeable of HIPAA patient privacy and data security requirements, OSHA employee protection regulations, and The Joint Commission's accreditation standards for home health and home infusion pharmacy (or other relevant accrediting organizations) * Evening and weekend availability Careers with Optum.
