Pediatria Healthcare for Kids, an innovative provider of services and private duty in-home nursing, is looking for a RN Clinical Director to manage a private duty nursing location. RN Clinical Director / Healthcare Administrator / Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing oversight of nursing standards of healthcare and supervision of direct patient care activity in accordance with all state, local and federal requirements and regulations.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Providing supervision of PDN staff, including fostering a collaborative and positive work environment

  • Organizing documentation requirements related to patient care

  • Marketing the Pediatria concept to the medical community

  • Managing the budgetary and fiscal aspects of the location

  • Responding appropriately in emergency situations and intervenes as necessary

  • Reflecting current knowledge of trends, research and recent advances in the care of medically complex children

  • Ensuring quality patient care in compliance with Nurse Practice Acts, federal, state and HIPAA regulations; and professional licensing agents

RN Clinical Director/ Healthcare Administrator / Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Requirements

As a RN Clinical Director, you should have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and have a passion for caring for medically fragile children.

Additional requirements of the Location Director include:

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of employment

  • Previous experience is home health management preferred

  • NICU/PICU or pediatric experience

  • Valid CPR and First aid certification

  • Evidence of a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge of basic computer applications

The Clinical Care Coordinator of Pediatric Private Day Nursing ("Coordinator") assists the Director in managing the clinical integrity of in-home nursing program. In this role, you will foster a collaborative and positive work environment for your compassionate team. Clinical Care Coordinator / Home Healthcare/ Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities * Supervise assigned nursing personnel to include orientation, on-going evaluations, and performance improvement. * Maintain employee files for assigned nursing personnel. * Participate in the screening, interview, and hiring process. * Request and maintain timely documentation for patient care to include physician orders, letters of medical necessity, prior authorization, insurance verification, and all reimbursement paperwork * Proactively manage risk for patients and personnel. * Acts as company and patient advocate in all aspects of care. * Create and maintain staff schedules, including transportation routes and schedules. * Organize and submit bi-weekly payroll to Corporate. * Audit clinical documentation for Quality Assurance compliance. * Serve as liaison between personnel and patient/family for services provided. * Maintain all appropriate credentials, licensure, and certification as mandated by the position without restriction, sanction, or revocation. * Assesses the family dynamics, strengths and weaknesses, particularly in regard to the patient's medical condition and developmental status. * Provides teaching, counseling and support to families in an effort to facilitate adjustment to their child's medical problems and/or developmental status. * Evaluates and updates nursing care plan/treatment plan, establishing new goals according to patient progress. * Other duties as assigned. Additional requirements include: * Registered Nurse in state(s) serviced by location. * Demonstrates adequate knowledge of home ventilators, apnea monitors, oxygen, trachs and trach care, and suctioning, special feedings, G-tubes, N\G tubes and IV's. * Minimum two years' experience in PICU, NICU or other related "high tech" environment preferred. * Microsoft Office skills required.
