SUMMARY Provides compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, supporting the Mercyhealth nursing mission, practice values and strategic plan.# May include variable shifts, weekends, holiday and/or on-call hours. Performs other duties as assigned including floating to various units based on identified needs and clinical competency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES # Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.# # Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act.# # Documents according to standards of care. # Develops initiates and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or clinic policy including patient and family instruction. # Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, may include shared governance. # Utilizes clinical expertise # guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient#s longitudinal plan of care. # Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command. # Participates in the professional nursing continuum process. EDUCATION # EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited nursing program.# BSN or upon hire BSN completion agreement for enrollment in an accredited BSN Completion Program. If hired prior to 1-1-17 in Winnebago county and 9-1-15 in Rock, Walworth and McHenry County an ADN is required.

May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines) CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE Licensed as an RN in state of practice Approved CPR certification required within 90 days (Other certification per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)##

Hormel Foods Beloit Plant produces a variety of canning products, including Hormel Chili, Mary's Kitchen Hash, and Chi-Chi's Salsa. Primary Duties: * Conducts the following audits & inspections and completes associated paperwork. * Label Verification, Random On-Line Quality & Specification Audits, Weight Control, Housekeeping, Monthly GMP Audit, and Other Tasks As Assigned By Management. * Monitors and make sure all Food Safety & Good Manufacturing Procedures are being followed. * Perform Pre- Op Inspections Additional Duties * Cover Vacation for all QC positions on 1st and 2nd shift. * Assist sanitation crew as needed * Perform projects as assigned by QC Manager Requirements for this position: * Able to work weekends as required when production is running. * Must be able to work the primary schedule each week with the flexibility to work additional days as required.
