Job Summary The Charge Nurse is a Registered Nurse under the direct supervision of the respective Clinical Director.# This position is responsible for daily operation of their assigned areas and focuses on clinical responsibilities, which include some assigned managerial involvement, as needed.# This individual demonstrates core competencies within the discipline of Nursing and patient care.# This position integrates daily patient care within the Witham Health Services philosophy in all aspects of the job performance and interpersonal relationships.# This position is directly responsible for ensuring staffing and consulting with the Clinical Director when all alternatives have been exhausted or when agency use is needed.# This position will have 24/7 coverage during the Director#s absence and/or when placed in the unit #on-call status. Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements # Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program, Bachelors preferred.# # Must hold a valid license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana.# # Must have two (2) years previous clinical experience with expertise in assigned area of responsibility.

Must have 1 year in previous related supervisory experience.
