VIEW JOBS 1/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-16T00:00 Job Summary: Provides regular professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in a variety of healthcare settings. Come help the Cleveland Clinic provide world class care by pursuing a job in our newest Cath Lab/EP Lab that is tentatively scheduled to open summer 2019. For the 24th consecutive year, Cleveland Clinic's heart program has ranked as the best in the nation, earning the No. 1 ranking in U.S. News & World Report's "2018-19 Best Hospitals." We are seeking experienced Nurse Talent for our newest Cath Lab/EP Lab. Nurses with ICU/ED experience will join a team of caregivers that will provide specialized cardiac care in our procedural area. In the cath lab, our nurses work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high quality care to all patients seen in our busy labs. Nurses work along world-class physicians performing a variety of cases from diagnostic left or right heart caths, scheduled interventions, heart biopsy, chronic total occlusion cases, structural heart cases and more. The Cleveland Clinic has northeast Ohio's only 24/7 in house staffed cath lab, making it a destination for STEMIs day or night. STEMIs are brought in via EMS and bypass a stop in the emergency department to get to the cath lab faster and ensure the lowest door to balloon time possible. We see STEMIs flown in from up to a 60 mile radius for our excellent STEMI care. The Electrophysiology Lab specializes in the treatment of patients with cardiac rhythm disorders. Typical procedures include pacemaker/ICD implantation as well as ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, and more. Their RNs work closely with physicians and the anesthesia team to care for all patients. They use cutting edge technology, including a new hybrid operating room to accommodate the intricate cases they see. Again, world-class physicians attract a complex patient population in which the EP lab serves with excellent outcomes. Candidates who are seeking a day shift career opportunity working Monday-Friday with a limited on-call requirement are encouraged to apply.
