Job Title: RN Case Manager Assistant

Job Description

The RN Case Manager is responsible for conducting medical necessity screening and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated care. This role supports regulatory compliance and follows evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include medical necessity screening, care coordination, implementation of transition plans, communication with the interdisciplinary team, management of disputes, and thorough documentation in electronic systems. The role also involves maintaining patient demographic and insurance information, identifying utilization issues, and supporting appropriate care levels through effective communication with payers.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 13 Week(s). This is from 8pm to 6:30am role which is onsite and during the night shift.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Marcos, California.

Work Environment

The position is available in San Marcos, where previous case management and EPIC experience is preferred. Another opportunity is available in Zion, requiring case management and ED experience with a willingness to work 10-hour night shifts in the ED department.
