General Overview:
We are seeking an RN to work in our Anticoagulation Management Service (AMS). The NSPG AMS is an outpatient, nurse-led practice providing management of outpatients requiring anticoagulation therapy. The position involves clinical practice at different sites within the NSPG AMS and participating in the development and review of practice quality improvement activities.
The AMS assesses and counsels patients on a full range of issues pertaining to anticoagulation with warfarin including adjusting dosage based on the INR result. Clinical practice includes face to face and telephonic care management. We provide point of care (fingerprick) INR testing and care management for lab and home INR testing across the continuum of care.
All of our AMS team have access to and use our fully integrated EMR system, Epic.

Schedule/Location:
We are seeking a full time RN to support our practice Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Our practice is located at 331 Highland Ave, Salem, MA. The role will require some travel to Rowley and Lynn offices.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
Anticoagulation experience strongly preferred
CACP certification preferred
Experience with quality improvement preferred
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and EPIC preferred
