Work Schedule:

100% FTE, day shift. No weekends, no holidays. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered. You will work at the UW Health Fitchburg Clinic located in Fitchburg, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Provide high quality, evidence-based care to patients from birth to end of life, in a compassionate patient- and family- centered environment.

  • Promote healthy lifestyles, prevention, and wellness measures, as well as, provide chronic condition management and education.

  • Utilize critical thinking skills in a variety of ways, such as triaging phone calls, following up on MyChart messages, and providing direct patient care.

  • Be an active member of the collaborative, interprofessional team.

Education:

Minimum

  • Graduate of school of nursing.

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum

  • Six (6) months of RN experience.

Preferred

  • Relevant RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum

  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact and CPR/BLS Certification.

Preferred

  • Applicable clinical certification.
