Position Summary:

The Coordinator will play an integral role in the coordination and conduct of day-to-day TAVR Program and other activities under the direction of the Structural COE leader and in collaboration with the Heart team. The person in this role must be able to establish priorities and a course of action for managing several activities at once while observing deadlines, and to function and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and patients.

The Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership and facilitating activities and services across the system regarding care for patients undergoing the TAVR procedure, and other procedures as new programs are developed. A strong clinical background and understanding of structural heart anomalies and treatments is essential. The ability to design and align resources to support program initiatives, program development, developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external referring physicians, and development of a program database are keys to success.

Minimum Requirements:

Three (3) years of experience with Cardiac, Cardiothoracic or Vascular patients

Clinical experience in acute care management

Clinical experience with advanced cardiac procedures is helpful

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Registered Nurse

Licensed in the state of WA as an RN by the time of employment

Current BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers
