JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for repairing all OpenEye products and testing all product returns. The RMA technician will report to the RMA Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.   • Communicates with the RMA Manager about what work needs to be done.

  • Repairs and test and troubleshoot OpenEye products sent in for repair and credit.

  • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

  • Work onsite in our Liberty Lake, WA headquarters.

Formal Education, Certification/Licensure, and Prior Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree

  • a minimum of 1 years related experience and/or training.

  • Knowledge and determination to create new ideas to help promote a positive work environment.

Mental & Other Skills/Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the:

  • Adaptability: ability to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events in the work environment; ability to manage competing demands and prioritize tasks; ability to change approach or method to best fit the situation.

  • Technical Ability: working knowledge of:

  • Basic computer hardware includes monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer.

  • Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office software.

  • Internet software.

  • Basic office equipment to include telephone, photocopier, fax machine.

  • Knowledge of computer and DVR Repair.

  • Dependability: ability to follow instructions, both in written and verbal format; ability to complete tasks on time or notify the appropriate person with an alternate plan when necessary.

  • Interpersonal Skills: ability to maintain positive relationships with others; ability to provide excellent customer service in every situation; Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.

Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

  • More than 75% of the time: sit, stand, climb, walk, lift up to 75 pounds, pull/push up to 75 pounds, carry up to 75 pounds, grasp, reach, bend, stoop/crouch, talk, hear.

  • Vision: see close up with or without corrective lenses, see out of one's peripheral vision, judge the distance between oneself and other objects, and to differentiate between colors.

The salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience. This allows opportunity for growth and development within the role. The salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
