The Risk Shared Services Testing Specialist supports the development, execution, and maintenance of a risk management framework through providing testing support to assist business segments' risk teams in institutionalizing risk management programs. This position will primarily focus on our Retail and Business Banking Segments.

  • Works with the Risk Shared Services Management in the administration, development, implementation and maintenance of the Corporate Risk Management Program.

  • Ensures timely completion of all Enterprise Risk Management Systems (ERMS) testing and ensures reporting requirements are within established guidelines. Assists in the ongoing development of effective self-monitoring practices. Promotes exchange of ideas and application of best practices.

  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with segments through continuous and proactive communications.

  • Completes work papers for each testing results to Risk Shared Services Management and Segment Risk Management within established timelines.

  • Delivers timely and pertinent analysis to both the Segment Risk Manager & Risk Shared Services Manager on testing results, highlighting areas requiring attention and follow up to ensure consistency with business segment policies and procedures.

  • Helps foster a risk awareness culture.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree. An additional 2 years of risk experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 or more years of work experience analyzing business information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Position is located in Columbus, OH at our Easton location.

  • Retail Banking and/or Business Banking experience.

  • Risk, auditing, or compliance experience.

  • Control testing experience.

  • The ability to read and understand simple to complex written information and data and apply to work at hand.

  • The ability to multi-task on multiple assignments that are in various stages of completion, and complete with a sense of urgency and within deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience reviewing others work and providing feedback in a professional and collaborative way.

We are looking for a Packaging Test Lab, Specialist who will join our Laboratory Services team. This position will be based at The Scotts Miracle-Gro world headquarters in Marysville, a suburb of Columbus, OH. Not familiar with Columbus? Visit The Laboratory Services team is looking for a candidate to join their Packaging Test Laboratory, supporting Scotts Research & Development. The position will report directly to the Manager of Lab Services and work closely with the staff of the Analytical Research Lab, Packaging & Durables, Process & Formulations, and Corporate Quality to conduct storage stability studies and develop spreader settings for Scotts products ranging from fertilizers to pesticides. In this role you will: * Packaging storage and stability analysis: Setup storage stability studies and monitor for degradation of formula and/or packaging in climate-controlled chambers; * Fade testing: Conduct fade testing on various materials to simulate long-term outdoor exposure; * Waste management: Involvement in the waste management program by learning to document, dispose, and differentiate between hazardous and non-hazardous waste; * Spreader settings: Conduct spreader setting testing to ensure proper rate application instructions are provided on our product labels for granular and seed products; * Strong organizational, time management and communication skills are critically important as the person must work across many functions to support new product launches on tight timelines across a variety of product platforms. The perfect person will have: * Minimum requirement is B.S. degree in a physical science; * 2-4 years of hands-on laboratory experience; * Firm understanding of laboratory principles and procedures; * Proficient in statistical analysis, MS Excel, SAP and preferably have a basic understanding of Good Laboratory Practices; * Customer-focused attitude and will engage collaboratively on project teams including cross functional experts in product analysis, formulation chemistry, package design, process engineering, quality and regulatory. Some other nice to haves: * Hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling and disposal experience; * Experience with forklift driving.
