Job Requirements

Bachelors degree required; Graduate degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
7-10 years related experience required

Strong analytical, technical and writing skills

Ability to develop and execute complex analyses in support of business goals and objectives

Commercial Lending knowledge and experience is required

Excellent PC skills

Job Description

Creates and analyzes reports; present findings to management and provide input into decision-making to properly manage the Retail Portfolio of the Company.

Provides information to both internal and external auditors, and external regulators, to ensure their accurate understanding and analysis of the retail portfolio.

Working closely with Product Credit Risk Teams, provides in-depth insight and analysis to evaluate portfolio to maintain acceptable overall risk levels. Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans. Analyzes portfolio based on debt to income, loan to value, credit scores and a variety of other credit variables.

Furnishes independent oversight and approval of material underwriting policies and procedures to be implemented in the line of business, providing safeguards while allowing the Company to compete in the market. Coordinates closely with Product Credit Risk Team and to lesser extent business line management to ensure products meet market needs and generate acceptable risk-adjusted returns and that credit processes are functioning effectively.

Policy reviews and changes to be coordinated for consistency across the Retail Lending Lines of Business.

Recommends to Product Credit Risk Team credit policy and underwriting standard modifications where warranted. Monitors the organizations credit risk exposure and provides guidance in portfolio review and strategy.

Analyzes various segments of the portfolio to determine their impact on the loan loss reserve.

Our Risk practice is global so although you will primarily be serving clients in the Americas, you will also support clients in other geographies and across many different industries that are facing challenges of developing and implementing tailored concepts for risk identification, measurement and control. What You'll Do You will work with client teams to provide technical leadership to solve our client's Risk Management related business problems. You will support teams in the application of state-of-the-art advanced analytic and quantitative tools to derive insights and improve risk management decision making for clients. You will oversee end-to-end delivery of projects, working with team and practice leadership to ensure delivery of an analytics component (e.g., engage in problem solving; plan and manage execution) and proactively shaping the innovation / capability building agenda. You will help build capabilities with clients and project teams by codifying your knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and helping to drive internal knowledge development efforts.
