JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education: RN/BSN other clinical degree or medical/clinical experience preferred.

Certification: Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred

Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred

Experience: Healthcare quality, patient care, or case management within a hospital or clinical setting.

SKILLS:

  • Leadership ability

  • Ability to work with all levels in the organization

  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with employees and affiliated personnel at all levels of the organization including members of the medical staff and Facility Board of Trustees, and HSC Risk and Compliance

  • Effectively maintain anonymity when appropriate and be able to effectively receive, manage and discuss sensitive information and topics

  • Integrity and compassion

  • Knowledge of and ability to research healthcare laws, regulations, and standards

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, web-based and electronic software, internet research and basic statistical software.

  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and self-motivated.

  • Ability to collaborate with multi-clinical disciplines.

  • Ability to be flexible, work cooperatively with others, and exhibit a positive demeanor in the work environment.
