Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for several key enterprise risk functions, including: management of roll out of enterprise risk program initiatives, facilitation of risk process owner interviews, documentation of risk results, performing risk analysis, regularly updating risk management templates, development of management reporting and providing updates to divisional management on the status of the ERM program. Work with ERM liaisons embedded in business units.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree AND 5 years combined in any of the following areas -audit (internal audit department or public accounting firm) or 9 years experience in external consulting experience in a large, complex managed care, insurance, financial or operational environment or enterprise risk management in a large corporate setting

  • Experience with project tracking including monitoring and reporting

  • Verbal and written communication skills, time-management, and project-management skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Professional designation (e.g. CRMA, CPA, CIA, etc.).

  • Knowledge of ORSA compliance, business information resources, general business practices, business law, and industry best practices.

  • Knowledge of health care insurance and/or financial service operations, reporting and regulation.

  • Experience working in a position which requires leading/consulting major audits

  • Knowledge of accounting, financial consulting, Information Systems operation, and Information Systems design.

In this role you will: * Travel to customer sites and interact with the customer and their employees to provide risk management consultant services, safety surveys, training and technical support of Argo Risk Tech to customers. * Analyze data from Argo Risk Tech in order to evaluate and report to the client, and their broker, regarding the client's losses and make recommendations to prevent future losses. * Provide information to the Argo Insurance Underwriting team regarding risk evaluation and assessment so the proper premium can be calculated. Partner with Marketing and Underwriting to help assess potential new accounts and generate new, profitable business. * Work together with fellow Risk Management team members to advance and improve how we service and support our clients and brokers through loss prevention activities and Argo Risk Tech utilization. What will you need to be successful here? * At least three years of risk management, loss prevention, safety and/or insurance experience. Familiarity with grocery, restaurant, and retail industries preferred. * A relentless desire to continually update your skill level through continuing education and self-development (we're a bit fanatical about this, so you should be too). So you should already have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university. * The ability to read, speak, and write English. The ability to read, speak, and write Spanish is a plus. * Ability to travel with both day trips and overnights, approximately 65% of the time. * Strong PC skills, including extensive experience working on Windows and good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. The ability to learn new computer programs including those proprietary to Argo is key as well. * Must have a strong focus on being a team player and on building meaningful work relationships. * The ability to work with independence and with a strong sense of integrity is necessary to be successful in this role. * We work in a fast paced environment that is evolving constantly; so flexibility and the ability to thrive in change are important to be successful here. Must be able to juggle multiple priorities to support clients or colleagues with a sense of urgency. * Like the rest of the Risk Management team you will be working with, you'll need a good head on your shoulders to create innovative strategies to help customers reduce their risk exposure. * Finally, you will be interacting and communicating with a lot of different people in this job and you must be comfortable engaging in conversation and making presentations to clients and brokers, as well as engaging with Argo leadership and other internal teams.
