Job Description

As Risk Management Analyst, you'll play a vital role in supporting our dynamic business by providing support to ensure Stream is in compliance with insurance and claims management. We're seeking a dedicated professional with extensive knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations, with the ability to interpret complex insurance contracts and legal documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Compilation of underwriting information, coverage placement and application review
  • Claims administration; collection of information, submission of the claims and overview of the claims lifecycle
  • Loss forecasting
  • Analysis to assist in loss reduction
  • Vendor and Tenant Certificate Compliance oversite and management with Stream's compliance vendor, adding locations, management of insurance requirements per client requests, and assisting property management in ensuring compliance
  • Management of the SOV including tracking acquisitions and dispositions
  • Collection of COPE data
  • Reporting: provide quarterly reporting for active claims, bonds placed, assets acquired/disposed and other relevant matters to be communicated to key stakeholders
  • Handle basis insurance related requests from stakeholders including COIs and general requests
  • Assist in the premium allocation process
  • Assist with the placement of all insurance products as needed
  • Policy review
  • Partner with stakeholders throughout the firm to assist with insurance and risk management requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, insurance, finance or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in risk management, insurance, or claims management within the construction industry or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and regulations, with the ability to interpret complex insurance contracts and legal documents.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess risks, analyze data, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, risk management software) and familiarity with insurance claims management systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to influence decision-making, drive change, and foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance.
