Job Summary
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work directly with the Risk Management team in support of insurance and claims activities including the reporting of new incidents.
Assists Risk Management with the various insurance renewals including underwriting data collection and analysis in support of insurance submissions.
Responsible for the timely payment of department invoices.
Prepares and assists with development of training material and presentations on behalf of Risk Management.
Support Risk Management with multi-asset losses including the review of submitted expenses to validate authenticity of work orders associated with any losses, and track insurance recoveries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly reports related to insurance and claims for internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze data and identify trends and key findings in both qualitative and quantitative data sets from various systems, including RMIS, Yardi, Salesforce, and various other systems.
Identify opportunities to design new and/or refine existing analyses to improve Risk Management enhancing productivity, accuracy, and efficiency over time.
Provide guidance to IH personnel regarding Risk and Insurance concepts in support of business activities.
Perform other duties as assigned on an as needed basis in support of company and departmental needs.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
General knowledge of Risk and Insurance in a commercial environment
Skills/Specialized Knowledge
Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with a high degree of organizational skill and a strong sense of urgency in completing tasks
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
Advanced analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
RMIS and Tableau Reporting a plus
Physical and Mental Demands
This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate and communicate. Work Environment
Standard office working environment that may be busy and noisy at times.
Salary Range
$53,175.00 - $92,170.00
