The Specialist, ERM Framework & Policy position is critical in advancing Card Services policy and standards agenda. This position is on the Enterprise Risk Management team and is responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining an enterprise-wide policy framework, managing policy and standards governance and developing the necessary technology to support the policy and standards management process. The Specialist, ERM Framework & Policy will drive the development and maintenance of enterprise-wide policy governance, support all management and bank committees, and contribute to other strategic initiatives as they arise. The role will support and influence senior leaders and functional experts across a variety of lines of business including Compliance, Legal, and within Risk Management.

Essential Job Functions
Maintain and update the enterprise policy framework and standards, to ensure thoroughness and consistency of all polices
Collaborate with policy owners in the annual review and maintenance of management and bank board policies;
Coordinate the annual review and approval of management and bank committee policies including the presentation and creation of standards to help the audiences easily understand any updates or changes and the related implications
Facilitate and maintain a central library of all policies and ensure appropriate access is in place
Communicate with and present to all levels of the organization to drive change management
Develop policy communication and exception standards; track exception requests and related dispositions
Stay abreast of industry and organizational developments that may influence policy best practices or specific content and incorporate as appropriate
Determine, assign and/or reassign policy ownership as required
Develop, analyze and present metrics and reporting to senior management
Collaborate with corporate's policy owners to ensure alignment between corporate's and line of business policy requirements
Drive policy training initiatives, new technology roll-out and other group initiatives as they arise relating to policy requirements and adherence
Bachelor degree in business, risk, compliance, computer science, or a related discipline. OR equivalent education and/or experience.
5-8 years' of professional experience relating to Project Management, Policy, Compliance, or Risk activities.
Experience working within the financial services industry or highly regulated environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge and understanding of an Enterprise / Bank Risk Management Committee structure
Ability to partner effectively across different businesses and functional areas
Ability to become a subject-matter expert in new laws and regulations impacting our business / policy requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment to effectively meet deadlines
Project management and business analysis skills
Written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to directly influence change, negotiate, and appropriately escalate
