Overview
We are currently seeking a Risk Governance Reporting Senior Manager within the 2LOD Risk Department. This role will be responsible for gathering insights on entity-wide risk assessments to identify gaps in the control environment, anticipate potential future gaps with changing business environments, monitor KRIs, and design a framework to provide meaningful risk insights in the management, executive and board risk reporting. This role will require communicating with individuals throughout the institution regarding risk practices and emerging risks in various business units. This role may also act as a consultative resource to the first and second lines of defense, put together risk presentations or informational reports for business unit leaders, executive management and the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities
Prepare comprehensive risk analysis and risk assessment processes with appropriate supporting details to comply with the bank's risk management framework
Partner across stakeholders to obtain consolidated risk profile view at the enterprise-level
Monitor industry risk insights, including external risk events and regulatory changes
Partner with Bank's technology and data teams in building out enhanced senior management and board-level reporting capabilities through identifying opportunities across people, process, technology, and data
Review business units' and enterprise level key risk indicator (KRI) information to produce periodic risk monitoring reports for various senior management and Board committees, such as ROC
Monitoring key risk indicators, assessing the need for new indicators depending on the change in the entity's business or processes
Partner with 2LOD Risk leadership team to enhance management, executive, and board-level risk committee reporting package
Review and analyze other internal and external reports for risk issues using the bank's risk framework
Manage reporting systems and database access to facilitate more complete and timely risk monitoring and reporting, including identifying any system enhancements
Support Director of Risk Governance and Strategy in development of organization's target operating model and coordinate across teams to identify execution risks and potential solutions related to data, technology and reporting
Execute ad-hoc risk management projects as requested by Director of Risk Governance and Strategy as needed
Qualifications
More than 10 years of work experience in risk management, Internal Audit, External Audit, or risk management consulting
Minimum Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Finance
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and effectively manage various projects and competing priorities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to think broadly, generate simple and creative ideas, and to translate strategy to execution
Collaborative team player and relationship builder with excellent communication skills
Ability to make sound risk/reward decisions using a balance of data, logic, and intuition
Proven, proactive approach to problem solving and workflow analysis
Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple deliverables and be able to identify and implement process improvements
Strong background in data analytics and reporting
A strong working knowledge of MS Office Software Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PPT)
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $220,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
