Who you are:
As a Risk Control Consultant with Frost Insurance Agency, you will be responsible producing new business and retaining clients by providing consultation in reducing insurance related losses, or by reducing exposures that could cause losses. More than that, this role is about building relationships and doing so with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.
What you'll do:
Provide consulting and safety training services to help assigned FIA clients reach their risk control objectives. Assist assigned clients with identifying key objectives to improve safety, compliance, risk control, and business continuity (Risk Analysis)
Conduct or arrange for technical training to assigned FIA clients in the field of OSHA, DOT, WC, TDI and other compliance areas as may be necessary
Serve as a resource to FIA's producers and management team in the field of safety, risk control and regulatory compliance
May participate with FIA's management in developing and delivering risk control topics to clients during FIA Seminars. Continuing Education Credit preferred

What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Science, Engineering, or related field and two years experience in safety, safety/accident investigation or five years of related experience in lieu of degree
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Intermediate knowledge of: safety, safety/accident investigation, and risk management
Knowledge of major safety and health statutes and regulations, management systems, and reporting requirements
Current working knowledge of applicable occupational safety and health best practices, guidelines, and industry standards, including CFR 1904, 1910, and 1926 OSHA, as well as DOT, WC and TDI compliance
Experience with risk control computer system applications
Qualification Review Letter from TDI or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership ability
