Bring your expertise and be a resource by partnering with our Risk & Safety Manager and leadership in managing risk within our organization and promoting safety into our culture.

Below are some of the responsibilities as a Potawatomi Casino Hotel Risk and Safety Specialist:

• Investigate injuries for team members and guests. Determine root causes and implement measures to reduce or eliminate hazards.

• Conduct safety inspections to identify unsafe working conditions and practices.

• Oversee OSHA required training for team members to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

• Maintain documentation for Environmental, Health and Safety record keeping.

• Collaborate with management and front line team members to gain a firm understanding of operations and determine how to effectively integrate safety best practices.

• Conduct ergonomic assessments and job hazard analyses on tasks identified as high risk.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field and at least 1 year of experience in Occupational Safety.

• Able to write routine reports and correspondence as well as work with EHS software.

• Able to read and interpret technical reports

• Able to handle multiple job duties and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Auto Cad experience

• Certified aerial lift trainer
