Risk Analytics Manager- Customer Profitability Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Manager / Product Owner to lead the account profitability for Consumer and Small Business. You will own the account level profitability data infrastructure - including various revenue streams, expense allocation and activity drivers with a view of both fully loaded and variable profit margin.

In this role, you will:

• Understand various revenue streams and analyzing management reported revenue and various data sources

• Allocate various expense using meaningful expense activity drivers by applying activity based costing

• Lead global finance team to implement and execute end to end data solutions

• Partner with technology team to prioritize sprints to implement the defined roadmap

• Partner with model governance to pass various model and other data governance requirements

• Partner across other Consumer lines of Business to create one holistic Customer view

• Identify and recommend opportunities for transformation of data into actionable information that drives business outcomes, strategies, and risk control development

• Manage modeling, forecasting, reporting, and data distribution tools and processes requiring significant technical complexity within analytics

• Make decisions and resolve issues regarding data aggregation, strategies, resources, and operations of risk analytics to meet business objectives

• Interpret and develop risk policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity

• Collaborate with and consult with team, peers, and multiple level managers

• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Risk Analytics, business rules, requirement documents for technology, documentation for model

• Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to contribute to strategic decisions and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Develop consensus and gain buy-in for strategic priorities

• Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

• Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

• Advanced analytical skillsets like SQL, Alteryx, Python etc. to research and execute various data solutions

• Understanding of P&L and underlying drivers impacting revenue and expense

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the complex programming to extract data and/or manipulate databases such as Oracle, Teradata to support LOB strategy. Perform complex data analysis to support data quality, data integrity control.

• Evaluate new data sources and attributes, internal and external from extensive case reviews. Analyze data, perform deep-dives and understand / monitor trends to provide actionable insights

• Develop a high performing team including responsibilities for recruiting, training, coaching and retaining strong analytical capabilities for the analysts

Pay Range

$120,400.00 - $287,600.00
