OBJECTIVE
To assist the Risk Manager in assuring the organization's risk management, control, and governance processes are adequate and functioning in a manner that ensures risks are appropriately identified, measured, and managed and that resources are adequately protected. Additionally, the position is to provide assurance that transactions and associates' actions are in compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws, and that quality and continuous improvement are fostered in the organization's control process. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.
OUR EXPECTATIONS ARE THAT YOU:
Develop risk management plan using an appropriate risk-based methodology, including any risks or control concerns identified by management, and submit that plan to the audit committee for review and approval.
Implement the risk plan; including, as appropriate, any special tasks or projects requested by management and the audit committee.
Report significant issues related to the processes for controlling activities of the organization to the corporate risk management committee, including potential improvements to those processes, and provide information concerning such issues through resolution.
Issue periodic reports to the corporate risk management committee and summarize the results of audit activities
Keep the corporate risk management committee informed of emerging trends and successful practices in internal auditing and corporate governance.
Work with management and Risk Manager to develop an inventory observation schedule based on a risk assessment. This should include, but not limited to, value, change of management, age of inventory.
Determine resources, set frequencies, select locations, determine scopes of work, and apply the techniques required to accomplish the objectives.
Monitor and track observations to ensure proper adjustments are made including quantity, value, and timeliness.
Consider the scope of work, coordinate with, and provide support to external auditors, regulators, and others with the goal of optimal audit coverage at a reasonable cost.

Can demonstrate analytic software skills to quantify and illustrate financial reports, comparisons, impacts, and projections.
Ability to create and maintain professional working relationships
Ability to travel overnight on occasion

Have experience working in agriculture and enjoy being a key player in the company

HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BRING:
B.S degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, or Equivalent
5 years of business and/or auditing experience
Professional certifications preferred, with an expectation of acquiring the Internal Audit Practitioner designation, at minimum
