673 Enterprise Risk Management
The Risk Analyst will work in the development and implementation of the International Bancshares Corporation's (IBOC) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. The Risk Analysts report to the Risk Advisors and are responsible for identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks and development of methodologies and processes to measure and report issues to the business process' Senior Management, Risk Management Committee, and Risk Committee.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist the Risk Analyst II and/or Senior Risk Analyst perform risk assessments, based on the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) Enterprise Risk Management framework, which includes identifying, measuring and communicating risk issues.
Aid with the compilation of reports over risk appetite measures.
In conjunction with the Risk Advisor(s) and Senior Risk Analyst, help develop, implement, and monitor risk mitigation programs.
Support the risk management activities over the Model Risk Management program, excludes model validation activities.
Research and prepare regulatory summaries of new or updated guidance, regulations, or policies, issued by the Federal Reserve Bank and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), used by senior management to determine its applicability to the bank.
Stay abreast of current and emerging issues in the banking industry.
Assume additional responsibilities as required to fulfill departmental goals.
