Reporting to the Business Continuity & Risk Manager, this role supports the Risk Management Committee regarding all aspects of the enterprise-wide risk management program. Responsibilities include facilitating the identification of risks throughout the organization, developing, reporting and monitoring formats on risk management issues and developing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide overall risk related guidance and support to various departments throughout the organization.

  • Work with various teams across the organization to ensure that appropriate policies, procedures, and controls are established and well documented.

  • Assist in development, organization and delivery of communications on risk-related responsibilities.

  • Assist in management of risk review process.

  • Assist in coordination, monitoring, tracking, and reporting of risk-related activities.

  • Ensure that ongoing risk-related tasks are completed on a timely basis.

  • Review documentation to ensure effective and efficient implementation of internal controls, summarize findings, prepare reports and corrective action plans, and monitor noted deficiencies and progress toward corrective action plan completion.

  • Assist with identifying best practices and make recommendations on ways to improve the control documentation, enhance controls, eliminate inefficient controls, or implement new controls.

  • Provide support to subject matter experts on the effectiveness of the internal controls.

  • Provide support and report on the overall risk profile of program(s) and activities.

  • Assist with developing, implementing, and assessing business processes and enterprise risk management activities.

  • Understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

  • Assist with management requests, and/or other risk- related projects, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum 2 yrs. of business experience in risk management, financial management, or a similar role.

  • Highly developed analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills.

  • Professional ARM designation preferred but not required.

  • Ability to apply conceptual and innovative thinking to develop creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and mitigate problems.

  • Strong organizational skills, with proven project management skills in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Strong background in data visualization and reporting software including Tableau.
