This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Refrigeration Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping equipment running to maintain continuous production. You must be willing set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be willing to stand on your feet for a period of 12 hours or more. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
Refrigeration Maintenance positions require one year of experience in ammonia refrigeration or HVAC, or the equivalent certification from a technical school. Team Member must maintain 4 1 2 points or less or Team Member will be moved to general production to an open available position.
Team member must pass Hazmat physical within 30 days and retain Level 4 Hazmat clearance according to company policy. Pay Scale depends on experience schedule- Wed-Sat
