Are you an experienced and detail-oriented program manager who is passionate about cultivating relationships and excited about partnering to bring cycling programs to schools across the country?We are seeking a confident and collaborative leader who can deftly manage relationships spanning industries and experiences, efficiently implement programmatic operations, and effectively build and reliably sustain key relationships and partnerships.HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCEThe Riding for Focus Manager reports to the Executive Director, is an active leader on the Outride team, and drives many of the Riding for Focus related programs and initiatives including:Riding for Focus Program Management (40%)* Manage portfolio of school grantees, including communications, surveys, equipment orders (delivery and future purchases), and impact reports. * Lead and manage all aspects of Riding for Focus Grant Cycles: identification, engagement, application, acceptance, notification, and onboarding * Partner with Outride Fund Manager on cultivation and implementation of sponsored (Corporate & Foundation) R4F programs * Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders: School Champions, Curriculum Consultants, Outdoor Industry Partners, Educational Partners, and Key Program Accounts * Work with ED, team, and other consultants on curriculum development and refinementProgram Implementation (30%)* School/Organization Onboarding * Manage all administrative, contract and equipment logistics and tasks * Direct online learning management system platform * Own annual Riding for Focus instructor training * Product delivery & Inventory Management * Oversee and support partnerships pairings between schools/organizations and local bike shops/certified mechanics * Administer inventory management for products related to Riding for Focus programs, including purchase of additional bikes, helmets, etc. * Accounts Management * Quickbooks management of accounts receivable and payable and invoicing * Coordinate between Outride and Specialized Bicycle Components with regard to R4F equipment, product development, and design * Event Support and Coordination * Coordinate involvement, travel to, and manage booths or various event requirements related to Riding for FocusWork with ED to set vision and implement strategy for sustainable growth, in US and beyond (25%)* Create annual budget plan for Riding for Focus * Develop annual goals and strategy for Riding for Focus growth * Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with industry and educational partners to further the goals of Outride and Riding for Focus (for ex: USA Cycling, Active Schools)* Identify and attend events that raise awareness and support for Outride and Riding for FocusPartner with Outride Team on cross program implementation (5%)*
  • Cross-coordinate and co-manage any inter-connected projects with Outride team * Serve on the Outride Fund grant review committee * Work with Research Manager on designing and collecting survey data * Partner with Marketing Manager on R4F communicationsWHAT YOU NEED TO WIN*
  • Demonstrated ability to operate efficiently and effectively, leading by energizing others and encouraging collaboration to successfully advance Outride's mission and programs * Independent thinker and leader, able to take high level guidance, develop a plan with milestones, and deliver measured results on time and on budget * Background in education (as a teacher, para, administrative support, coach, etc.)* Robust project management skills, delivering project plans and contingency planning, strong skill in multitasking overseeing numerous projects * Commitment to and passion for actively cultivating equitable and inclusive cycling communities * Effective and strong presenter in small and large venues, demonstrating confidence working with new teams and external partners. * Program Design background a plus * Experience with any/all of the following helpful but not required: Oracle, Quickbooks, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Concur, Survey Monkey Apply * Strong interest and passion for cycling and fitness, children and education. The successful candidate has a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and 3-5 years' experience in marketing of RF or microwave products, ideally for the communications infrastructure market. You will work closely with our World Wide Sales and Field Applications Engineering team to ensure our products are positioned well with key customers around the World. In addition, you will influence our product roadmap based on the input you bring back from your interaction with our field teams and directly from discussions with customers. You will be responsible for creating marketing collateral, maintain product roadmaps and development of market and product requirement documents. You will work close with our product line management, applications engineering, and product development teams to define new products that help differentiate us in the marketplace. In addition, you will work with finance on business cases for new products. Your responsibilities will including preparation for trade shows and conference and you will work with our technical teams and marketing communications to position publications and announcement appropriately. In this role, you will mostly work from home for the time being, but we are asking that you will relocate to one of our sites in Mesa, AZ or Morgan Hill, CA when it is safe for all of us to work from the office again. Roles and Responsibilities: * Creation of marketing collateral * Assist product management in keeping product roadmaps current * Create market and product requirement documents * New product definition and business case generation * Develop and maintain forecasts for products in development * Assist in creation of product datasheets * Support sales in product promotion and customer interactions * Link between sales teams and product line * Facilitate customer sampling by closely working with program management team * Work with product management on replies to RFIs and RFQs * Help in preparations for trade shows, conferences, publications and announcement What you need for success: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field * MBA preferred * A minimum of 3 years' experience in RF or microwave marketing * Up to 20% travel * Willing to relocate to Mesa, AZ or Morgan Hill, CA * Must be a solid team player and be able to work in cross functional teams in global location * Excellent communication, presentation, writing and listening skills * Detail oriented, proactive and capable of exercising independent judgment, all with high energy. * This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.
