Responsible for raising assets and servicing existing clients within a geographic territory by proactively marketing to and providing support for RIA, Family Office and Bank Trust Firms.
Internal Sales Responsibilities:
Execute territory sales strategy by identifying potential clients and initiating contact with prospects to position Ivy products appropriately.
Determine the appropriate investment vehicle for potential clients including mutual funds, model delivery or SMAs.
Handle incoming requests for product information/analysis as well as sales and marketing material in a professional and timely manner
Execute firm initiatives and focus to meet sales goal through phone call and email campaigns.
Develop superior knowledge of Ivy Investment products/vehicles, competitor products, global markets and the mutual fund industry.
Deliver Ivy product and value add presentations based on client needs.
Learn and use effectively channel specific technology tools, i.e. SalesPage, RIA Database and Broadridge Opportunity Hunter to drive sales in the territory.
External Wholesaler Partnership:
Maintain consistent communication with external wholesaler including daily review of sales, opportunities, and summarizing activities that impact the territory.
Provide support to external wholesaler in preparation for meetings by gathering requested fund information and sales material.
Schedule wholesaler appointments with clients and prospects as appropriate.
Develop and implement territory sales strategy with external wholesaler.
Working with external wholesaler to maintain the contact relationship management system (SalesPage), tracking and managing marketing costs and developing new sales opportunities.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
FINRA Series 7 and 63 required or must obtain FINRA Series Licenses within first 180 days
Proficient knowledge of mutual funds and investment markets
Successful sales and/or sales support experience preferred
Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment
Effective presentation skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to travel periodically
