To strengthen our Rheumatology Sales Team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Rheumatology Clinical Account Specialist - Fresno, CA Geography

As an Rheumatology Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) you will be responsible for driving demand for the assigned product by reinforcing the clinical features of the product and UCB value within an assigned territory; engaging and building relationships with clinical decision makers and office support staff to create the best experiences for patients living with severe immunologic diseases who are treated in the home care setting.

  • Attain sales goals and objectives by product volume as well as other key accountabilities such as reach/frequency with assigned call plan stakeholders

  • Develops a strong understanding and awareness of the patient journey of care, including the unique needs of patients within the at-home care setting.

  • Work within the prioritized customer call plan to establish professional working relationships with HCP and support staff.

  • Offer an outstanding patient experience with our product by communicating clinical information on assigned UCB product and relevant patient support services

You will contribute by:

  • Establishing an understanding of the local ecosystems, including the payor environment, including pharmacy benefits; demonstrating the ability to successfully navigate the complexities of local care delivery systems and models, comprised of multiple payers, with varying degrees of restriction and barriers to patient access for the assigned UCB product.

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the competitive market place and drivers of prescriber decisions.

  • Demonstrating consistent application of the UCB Patient Value Strategy principles by establishing collaborative and team oriented working relationships, integrating with local UCB ecosystem business partners, in a matrix environment encompassing Field Reimbursement Managers, Immunology Clinical Account Specialist, Partnership Leads, Regional and National Account Executives and Medical Science Liaisons

  • Knowing when and how to bring in the right expertise at the right time from other UCB matrix roles based on the customer need or opportunity at hand

  • Conducting account related activities such as profiling, call planning, reviewing UCB sales data, related to at-home administration with assigned stakeholders

Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree BA/BS

  • 3 + years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare industry

  • Must have a valid US Driver's License and with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 2 years

  • 50% travel; will require overnight stays

  • Must reside within assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling injectable products

  • Experience in calling on Rheumatologists

  • Discussing therapeutic strategies to inform and influence decision makers

  • Developing and applying clinical and business expertise, and effective selling skills

  • Executing marketing strategies at the local level

  • Demonstrated understanding of managed care landscape and how it influences/impacts business

VIEW JOBS 3/1/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-05-30T00:00 Description: The Clinical Trial Research Coordinator I (CTRC-I) is a novice level position which, under the clinical direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), assists in the operational and administrative research support of the Kaiser Permanente Northern California (KPNC) PI and KPNC Clinical Trials Operations Director or designee, and other research staff conducting multiple FDA-regulated clinical trials. This is a non-licensed position which works under the daily supervision of an experienced Clinical Trial Nurse, Clinical Trial Research Coordinator, and/or KFRI-designated, licensed clinical trial research staff member. This position must adhere to the position's scope of practice as outlined in the Major Responsibilities below. This position is also responsible for assisting in protecting the health, safety, and welfare of research participants. Essential Functions: * ComplianceSupport & comply w/ the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente Code of Conduct). W/ guidance from PI, assist w/ ensuring compliance w/ KPNC IRB Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) & document applications. Adhere to Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (GCP), federal, state, & local regulations, & KP policies & procedures. W/ supervision, assist w/ preparation for inspections, audits & monitoring visits. * Study Implementation: Maintain the security & confidentiality of participants' paper or electronic data (e.g., case report forms kept in a secure, locked space). Assist w/ scheduling participants for study assessments/visits, required tests including visit-specific laboratory kits and/or paperwork preparation. Prepare packets for participants (e.g., instructions, phone numbers, calendars, diaries, etc.). * Assist w/ obtaining medical records & test results for all projects/participants. w/ supervision & certification, perform packaging & shipping of protocol specimens to the Sponsor lab in accordance w/ IATA/DOT regulations & Sponsor shipping guidelines. Direct issues requiring medical decision-making to the appropriate licensed staff member promptly. * Provide PI and/or Clinical Trial Nurse w/ the ongoing informed consent process by coordinating the current consent documents. According to protocol and/or IRB-approved telephone script, collect & document research data in a timely manner, & report the information to the appropriate licensed staff member & PI for assessment. Assist in the collection of protocol-required data w/ timely & accurate submissions as required by Sponsor (e.g., weekly screening log, routine electronic data submissions). * Under specific direction, assist w/ data entry of study activity onto a case report form (paper or electronic), & maintain a database program to track all study activity (i.e., study enrollment & consents). Assist in maintaining research charts & site regulatory files. Assist in ensuring that study-related, non-test article supplies are shipped & re-supplied according to protocol, including tracking expiration dates. Assist in obtaining protocol specific regulatory documents including MDs/RNs licenses & CVs. * Report any potential protocol violations/deviations to the PI in a timely manner. Support the regulatory team in the maintenance & storage of critical documents required to be maintained & provided to the Sponsor during the conduct of the trial. W/ supervision, assist in study closure activities including preparation & collection of close-out documentation, & preparation of study files for distribution to longterm storage. * This job description is not all encompassing.
