Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced professional looking for a new challenge! For our HQ in Amsterdam we are looking for a Revenue Management Lead. In this role you will report to the Head of Commercial Finance & Revenue Management and will be part of the Finance team.

The goal is to maximize profit by optimizing our promotion planning and our product portfolio while meeting the company's objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Set promo rules by category, brand and account based on in-depth analysis, brand strategy and consumer metrics

  • Analyze promo efficiency by category and account to optimize promo plan based on these promo learnings

  • Provide reporting on promo planning and promo evaluation

  • Guide Category and Sales team in executing the perfect promo plan and track on errors

  • Monitor competitor performance on promotion and pricing strategy

  • Work from category and brand strategy to set pricing strategy for our portfolio

  • Advanced partner for Category Team leaders on executing the promo and pricing plan

  • Provide promo and pricing reports and interpret information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action

  • Analyze day-to-day financial activities, business cases, strengthening plans and subsequently provide advice and guidance on future promo and portfolio plans.

  • Oversee proper prioritization of business requests and ensure continuous process efficiency improvement

  • Lead the Revenue Management team (2 dotted line reports) in managing promo plan, pricing plan and optimizing portfolio

Job Requirements:

  • BS/MA degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics, awarded by a recognized university).

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience. Experience in strategy consulting or FMCG sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst with a proven track record helps

  • Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Office and MS Excel

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Proven track record of problem solving as an owner, taking on entrepreneurial challenges and simplifying complex analyses

  • Interested in business and stakeholders, talks their language

  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used

  • Extensive understanding of commercial trends and their financial implications both within the company and general market patterns

  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles

  • Able to work independently and a good team player

  • Proactive and resourceful

Job Requirements and Essential Functions: * Strong preference for internal promote form Hourly Champion position. * Must be at least 18 years old. * Must pass background check criteria and drug test. * Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license. * Able to do basic business math. * Able to stock shelves and coolers. * Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction. * Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers and place in an outside bin. * Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant. * Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 90% of shift time.
