We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Student Analyst to assist our team. This part-time position is open to both undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in business, economics, statistics, or related fields. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data sets to support research projects and lab initiatives.
Essential Functions
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze data by utilizing your robust understanding of Excel.
Assist in the development of automated data analysis tools and dashboards.
Produce reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support research projects and administrative tasks.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytical methodologies.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive data.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
Experience in data analysis and the ability to gather, clean, interpret, and effectively communicate findings with large amounts of data.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with other analytical tools like Python or Tableau or querying languages like SQL is a plus.
