You will be responsible for technical leadership of antenna/RF component and subsystems development, validation, and product certification for the NSP Comm sub-system. Lead rapid-development antenna and RF hardware solutions for complex/critical missions subjected to aerospace/hypersonic environments.
As a hands-on subject matter expert, lead technically diverse teams, define electrical requirements, generate product specifications, perform analyses and EM modelling, generate technical recommendations, oversee fabrication, conduct/oversee testing activities, evaluate test results, and report findings to management and program customer representatives. Perform trade studies, participate in design reviews, troubleshoot and resolve technical anomalies, understand technology roadmaps, build and mentor technical talent, identify risks and opportunities, and apply strategic thinking to strengthen department focus for growth. Related work experience with vendors, quality engineers, procurement specialists, and proposal teams considered a plus. Some domestic travel required.

Proficiency with antenna, RF circuit and link/synthesis analysis tools such as CST, FEKO, ADS, HFSS, AWR Microwave Office, STK, NEC or similar tool packages. Experience with antenna and/or RF flight hardware manufacturing, testing (thermal, random vibe, shock, thermal vacuum) and system checkout & deployment.
Significant knowledge and proficiency with Antenna, RF/microwave, and communications theory and hands-on hardware design including active and passive circuits, amplifiers, oscillators and modulators/demodulators is required. Knowledge and applicable work experience with precision integrated radome/antenna designs. Proficiency in design, characterization and modeling of antenna and RF circuits using s-parameters, circuit integration and test using flight representative mock-ups and bench-top microwave equipment including spectrum and network analyzers.
Demonstrated strong technical leadership skills. Customer interaction, senior leadership interaction, proposal generation, able to serve as an independent technical reviewer - excellent presentation, oral, and written skills.
