Position Summary

Trideum Corporation has an immediate need for a RF Software Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong background in software and programming as well as familiarity with test hardware. The SME is needed to lead software integration for the E3 Instrumentation group while implementing in-house software solutions for capturing test data and controlling test equipment. The SME will play a key role in combating current ECE software obsolescence, filling junior engineer knowledge gaps, and bringing efficiency to current test processes. The SME will assist with ongoing and upcoming operational testing by successfully controlling Army Missile systems hardware undergoing RF Testing and recording results.

What Youll Do: Your day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, and maintain in house software used to control inputs and capture test data from Army missiles and aviation platforms under test at the RTC E3 Test Facility.

• Provide updates and/or new solutions to current in-house software controlling various RF test equipment, such as amplifiers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.

• Work closely with the E3 Instrumentation team for programming and incorporating custom software for use in test instrument control and data acquisition, utilizing software such as; C++, VBA, MATLAB, etc.

• Work hand in hand with the instrumentation team for hardware and software integration on Army Missile system instrumentation utilized during external electromagnetic environmental testing.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers to assist in developing in-house SW expertise

• Must be willing to work as part of a team with other engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Subject matter expert in designing software required to exercise Army Missile systems in various test phases

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field

• 10 years software development experience

• Need familiarity with C++, C#, VBA, Python, Arduino coding, etc.

• Outstanding written and oral presentation skills required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, TEAMS, etc)

• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Clearance
