RF Pallet CAD/Mechanical Designer

In the RF Power business unit, we design RF Power amplifiers for Aerospace and Defense, 5G, and Commercial applications. You will:

• Be responsible for the mechanical design layout, test, and release of RF Power Pallet Products.

• 2D AutoCAD, Altium PCB, and 3D CAD/Modeling using Solidworks.

• With support of other engineering disciplines, design and document cost effective mechanical parts and assemblies to support product development.

• Work with our RF Pallet design, electromagnetic design, analog/digital design, assembly, and test teams to develop new products as well as production methods.

• Work with our Business Development team on bid & proposal activity.

• Initiate prototype builds and manage product characterization. You will design evaluation hardware and characterization fixtures, then direct or perform measurements.

Job Qualifications (Required):

• 5+ years of 3D modeling experience using Altium, Solidworks, Solid Edge, Pro/Engineer or similar (Solidworks preferred).

• 5+ years of 2D drafting and creation of manufacturing drawings.

• 5+ years of PCB design and layout.

• Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance per ANSI Y14.5

• Familiarity with RF Power Pallet and Amplifier design techniques.

• Familiarity with PDM (Product Data Management) systems.

• Hands-on troubleshooting experience.

• Good communication, organization and documentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long lasting partnerships. Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Due to ITAR regulations, US Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required
