Key Responsibilities

  • Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers

  • Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of complex electrical problems with limited to no supervision

  • Specify the development of design or modify engineering assemblies, layout/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of complex scope

  • Interfaces with internal and external customers regarding complex electrical issues for specific projects

  • Implement concepts for wide range of complex product issues and solutions

  • Generate product specifications with limited to no supervision

  • Specify and/or perform engineering analysis of complex scope

  • Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports

These cutting-edge ICs include multiple transceiver channels and perform advanced beamforming and interference cancellation.  Design and test include circuit analysis and development, layout guidance, test to meet specifications and documentation. If you have experience in RF design, joining the Encore Semi RF Microwave Development team could be a good match for you.<br />  <br /> <strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><br /> • IC RF design experience required<br /> • Design and test experience in the 2GHz to 6GHz frequency range is required<br /> • Good understanding of RF system level parameters<br /> • Strong analytical and circuit analysis skills are required<br /> • Good hardware development skills in all areas of transceiver development (LNAs, PAs LOs, ADCs/DACs, etc.) is required<br /> • Must have experience working with layout designers<br /> • “Hands-on” experience in the lab, testing boards and developing test routines is required<br /> • Experience with RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, etc. is required<br /> • Must have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills<br /> • RF design skills including using CAD tools like ADS, AWR, HFSS and similar tools is required<br /> • Must be a positive team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<br />  <br /> <strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br /> • Experience in 5G systems<br /> • Experience in 130nm SiGe BiCMOS<br /> • Experience in ESD testing  <br />  <br /> <strong>Education Requirements:</strong><br /> • Required: BSEE + 10 years<br /> • Preferred: MSEE + 6 years<br />  <br /> <a href="http://www.encoresemi.com/about/"><strong>About Encore Semi</strong></a><strong>:</strong><br /> <br /> Encore Semi is a successful Engineering Solutions company.
