Compensation
We offer a total compensation package that includes a competitive base rate,
starting at $19.85, overtime after 8 hours, overtime after 40 hours and on
Saturdays, and double time! We offer consistent schedules, and guaranteed hours!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Wind from multiple reels to single reel as necessary for cabling or other
operations
Visually checks all wire and cable during rewinding operations to detect
rough finish areas, obvious diameter variations and other disqualifying elements
Take approved action to report, repair, remove faulty areas depending upon
type and use requirements of wire or cable being rewound
Performs simple electrical test functions to check cables and other items
for continuity and "dead" shorts
Run routine spark and similar tests following established practices and/or
specific instructions
Performs minor cable repairs, trim braid, repair jackets and perform other
routine repair operations as necessary
Check wall thickness, conductor and other diameters using micrometers and
other measuring devices
Coat wires and cable as directed
Qualifications/Requirements
