Overview

The Rewards Program Operations Specialist will oversee the organizational reward program operations for members, encompassing reconciliation, financial reporting, manual processes, vendor management, data access, and monitoring. This will involve generating reports for various departments and monitoring utilization of the programs to ensure effectiveness. To be successful, the Rewards Program Operations Specialist will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including Line of Business (LOB) Product Owners, DX Product Managers, Informatics, among others, to manage the daily activities supporting the rewards program. Their primary focus will be to ensure the seamless and efficient execution of reward program operations while also serving as a crucial participant in the feedback loop to enhance rewards program design.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Three (3) years of experience in operations and/or as a reporting analyst required.

  • Experience designing and monitoring key performance metrics required.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile data, generate reports, and monitor program performance required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities required.

  • Understanding of PDLC/SDLC is preferred.

  • Understanding of Population Health Framework best practices, NCQA standards, HEDIS/CAHPS/HOS measures, and NYSDOH/DFS and CMS regulations preferred.

  • Ability to organize resources and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with both internal and external customers.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to develop and deliver presentations to varying audiences and effectively communicate with internal and external teams or agencies.

Essential Accountabilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for rewards program operations, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand program requirements and ensure successful execution.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and budget forecasts related to all rewards programs.

  • Reconcile all reward dollars going in and out by product, ensuring accurate financial reporting and tracking of reward program expenses.

  • Create dashboards and reporting for program utilization, including support for employer group requirements.

  • Initiate and manage the process for manual reward issuance, including sending manual options for expired rewards, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

  • Maintain and provide accounting information for each reward program, ensuring accurate data for invoice payments and reporting.

  • Monitor available funds and facilitate with LOB Product Owners when funding requests are needed.

  • Manage rewards related vendors by ensuring adherence to standards and SLAs and leading efforts for problem resolution.

  • Work with the Digital agile teams to ensure successful execution of new, and maintenance of existing rewards programs.

  • Implement and execute a periodic review process for the use of rewards with key stakeholders to ensure their success and/or adjust.

  • Participate in strategic program design discussions and contribute feedback and ideas.

  • Participate in quality assurance activities to validate the communication of rewards to the correct membership and for the correct engagement.

Hiring Compensation Range: $23 - $29 hourly

Compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to skills, education, location and experience.

In addition to base compensation, associates may be eligible for a scorecard incentive, full range of benefits and generous paid time off. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
