Job Scope - Revit Specialist

  • Accurately create drawings using company standards with minimal supervision to create and update SD, DD & CD phases of Contract Documents for Project Management Support

  • Create 3D Revit models for building information modeling (BIM) cross-disciplinary coordination and construction documents.

  • Create CAD drawings for internal HFEG coordination as well as for production.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in refining, developing & implementing standards, training, and support practices

  • Assist in providing team and over-the-shoulder training/coaching as needed

  • Collaborate with consultants and clients to ensure efficient data sharing

  • Design, generate and document custom BIM content, procedures, utilities and installs/deployments

  • Implementing Revit effectively

  • Provide on-going support for the product lines and sales

  • Producing SD thru CD documentation drawings

  • Develop the skills needed to become the technical expert that supports our premier consultants

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience and technical proficiency with Revit Architecture

  • Fundamental experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Architecture

  • Knowledge of BIM/Management and Integrated Project Delivery concepts

  • Good understanding of architectural project workflows; Schematic Design(SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Document (CD) phases and project management

  • Familiarity with design & visualization applications a plus (3DS Max, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Food service knowledge a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communications

  • Strong Teamwork, Communication and Organizational Skills

  • The Ability to Multi-Task

  • A Willingness to Learn

  • Develop new product line family as needed along with evaluate and update current families

  • Become a standing member on the FCSI Revit task force

  • Experience in commercial, higher education, K-12, government, hospitality, senior living and/or retail is desired

Education/Experience:

  • BS in Architecture and/or Engineering or commensurate
  • 5 years' experience with Revit for Architecture in the commercial design field

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience within the AEC industry

The incumbent will focus on market expansion and increased market penetration, in addition to managing internal incentive and productivity growth programs. Scope Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this position will have extensive interface with all levels of the Field Service and Aftermarket Parts organization and requires coordination with other FEG marketing/sales organizations. The position may direct the activities of a marketing intern or a co-op student. Key Responsibilities * Support service and parts division by assisting with target account identification, office target identification, sales planning, customer presentations, demonstrations, and Troy visitations. * Develop marketing briefs for various types of campaigns and ensure stakeholder needs and results are measured * Ensure adherence to corporate branding policy and integrating guidelines into marketing campaigns. * Assist in justifying, recommending, implementing, monitoring and summarizing service promotional programs. Develop or modify the appropriate supporting service marketing materials, including specification sheets, brochures, flyers, postcards, advertisements, posters, ' "give-away" items and other promotional materials. Maintain an organized system to standard literature requests. * Maintain the Service organization Microsoft SharePoint website. * Assist in representing Service Organization at national and regional industry association trade shows. * Create messaging / brand and organize promotion via trade shows, conferences, press releases, etc. through interface with Communications * Maintain advertising interface (media ads, trade show displays, brochures, etc.) Coordinate communication programs (on-hold tape, articles, etc.) * Coordinate / administer all direct mail efforts for regional and local direct mail campaigns on behalf of field offices from idea generation to the final printing. Serve as field liaison between branch field offices coordinating mailing projects with offices.
