We are seeking a skilled Revit Drafter/Designer for our client in Lakewood.

We need an individual who is knowledgeable in operating Revit and AutoCAD to draft and design Structured Cabling, Audio/Visual, Security, and other systems for commercial/institutional buildings.

Revit Drafter/Designer Responsibilities

  • Improve and/or build new families.
  • Update Detail library.
  • Drawing set-up.
  • Review project files for compliance with Standards/protocols.
  • Implement best practice procedures.
  • Produce accurate 2D drawings and/or 3D models.
  • Coordinate drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines.
  • Help others with AutoCAD and/or Revit use and procedures.

Revit Drafter/Designer Requirements

  • Structured Cabling, Audio/Visual, Security.
  • Understanding of how to read Construction Drawings.
  • Ability to work and coordinate multiple projects at once.
  • Proficient computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).

Candidates must have skills in HTML and Adobe CC and experience working in various LMS/CMS platforms. Principal Responsibilities * Post content, convert media assets, and organize courses on a learning management system. Ensures content is complete, accurate, and free of errors in formatting. * Identifies, troubleshoots, and fixes elements that are not displaying properly on LMS. * Documents progress in standard tracking documents using Google Sheets, Excel, Word, and similar software. * Performs quality assurance checks on courses and related instructional projects. * Reviews materials for clarity and consistency of format. Education * Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, instructional technology or related field. Experience * Proficiency in HTML and CSS (the ability to code without the use of a WYSIWYG editor). * Experience in the development and delivery of online course materials and education programs using learning management systems (e.g., WebCT, Blackboard, Canvas, D2L, Moodle) as a course designer. * Experience using either Camtasia or Storyline Articulate to create multimedia learning objects. * Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe CC, Google Drive/Docs * Online teaching experience preferred but not required * Experience working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and deploy online courses. * Experience working within schedule and budget deadlines. Skills * Proficient in MS Office, Adobe CC, Camtasia or Storyline Articulate. * Able to program and fix HTML code without the use of a WYSIWYG editor. * Attention to detail. Excellent editing, grammar, spelling, and document formatting. * Organizational and project management skills. * Able to learn new software quickly. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Able to work collaboratively and communicate diplomatically with a variety of people. * Able to work efficiently within schedule and budget parameters.
