Lead over 4 revert persons. Work with revert buyers for the collection, pricing, pickups and settlements. Improve revert processes for efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and oversee work for 4 employees

  • Track revert sales weekly (reported to General Manager)

  • Write invoices for material being sold

  • Schedule pickups with revert buyers

  • Work with revert buyers on pricing of revert sales

  • Review discrepancies with buyers on settlement reports (may require visits to revert buyer facility to verify settlement claims.)

  • Determine and appropriate resources required for revert processing

  • Continuous review of revert process to improve efficiency, safety and security, providing recommendations to Upper Management and Safety Department

  • Implement approved revert efficiency improvement requests

  • Forecast anticipated material flow with machine shops

  • Other relevant tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Education: High school education, College degree preferred

Excellent communications skills

Proficient in excel

Able to run a forklift

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-05T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY: The Equipment Supervisor oversees Equipment Service Technicians involved in the installation, maintenance, rebuilding and repair of equipment for internal/external customers. This position ensures effective business relationships are cultivated among the Sales/Operations teams to address customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction. The Equipment Manager provides oversight to ensure customer sites are evaluated properly and petroleum/lubricant equipment condition is tracked against each location, along with product inventory, and that all customer concerns are addressed promptly. The Equipment Supervisor ensures an effective partnership between Sales and Environmental Health, Safety & Security in the conduct of initial site surveys to determine customer location equipment needs and may participate in the proposal, permitting, and installation processes. The Equipment Supervisor manages the customer experience, ensuring Technicians respond appropriately to customer concerns, involving the customer service team as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manages personnel involved with the customer equipment installation, repair and maintenance process. * Meets with customers to provide estimates for installation of lubrication equipment in new construction and remodels. * Supervises and participates in the proper and safe building, installation, trouble-shooting/analysis of lubrication equipment and e-tank monitoring equipment at customer sites or at SC Fuels facility locations, in compliance with manufacturer recommendations and national fire protection codes. * Orders equipment to maintain satisfactory inventory levels, e.g., Graco, RAASM, National Spencer, GPI, etc. * Ensures repair and maintenance of all chemical flush machines and extractor machines loaned to customers. * Maintains consistent communication with Sales/Operations and Customer Service regarding new items, repair requests, equipment change of location, and ensures accuracy in work order information. * Maintains inventory of equipment in the system and directs personnel to run reports to determine incorrect locations or descriptions. Ensures technicians locate items that may have been incorrectly assigned or are not appropriately identified. * Learns how to use Collective Data system to effectively manage parts and equipment inventories and departmental costs. * Good interpersonal and communication skills and management background. Must be comfortable being very visible to the customer and the sales team. * Places orders with vendors * Performs additional duties and assignments as directed by manager QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience Required: * At least two years of Supervisory experience preferred * Valid driver license with an impeccable driving record * Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, national and local fire codes and the precautions required with hazardous materials preferred * Capable in proficiently operating forklift and communication devices * Ability to produce highly accurate work and make deadlines under pressure. * Ability to efficiently read, comprehend, and professionally communicate relevant terms and concepts to customers and co-workers both verbally and in writing. * Ability to interact safely, efficiently and professionally with all levels of employees, customers, vendors individually and in a team environment to deliver excellent customer service. * Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. * Proficient in use of DM2 and Microsoft Office products, internet and e-mail for business needs. * Ability to use sound, independent judgment based on department guidelines and supervisor skills to make appropriate decisions on behalf of the company.
