The Role:
The Reverse Logistics Sr. Materials Manager is responsible for all supply chain activities related to fulfilling Lab126 warranty requirements and certified refurbished demand. This role covers both tactical and strategic aspects of Supply Chain Management. This person has a business orientation and is will work with all of the Reverse Logistics cross functional teams as well as our external suppliers. Your goal is to ensure continuity of supply for all products in multiple facilities around the globe. In this role, you will:
Act as the main point of contact for material issues both internally and externally with our suppliers
Communicate forecast and verify fulfillment from a materials perspective
Understand key forecast inputs and trends and the downstream impact on materials
Have a strong understanding of Bill of Materials systems, processes and general disciplines
Support all devices from NPI through to End of Life and establish material strategies to support warranty requirements beyond the end of manufacturing
Participate in weekly and monthly supplier meetings and quarterly business reviews
Work collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers to implement strategic solutions to continually improve our materials management processes
Provide Clear-to-Build (CTB) updates. Visibility to material supply, highlighting projected coverage and constraints
Schedule and host meetings with suppliers in US and/or globally to proactively manage material and eliminate shortages as required
Develop and maintain KPIs with contract manufactures
Be responsible for monthly and quarterly metric reporting
Both domestic and international travel may be required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of supply chain experience
4+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
3+ years of program or project management experience
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Advanced Excel skills that can be used to identify trends in datasets that can be used to make a decision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
5+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, problem solve, handle multiple tasks and prioritize daily responsibilities
Prior experience working with or managing customers
Demonstrate flexibility to adapt quickly to departmental changes and conditions
Prior reverse logistics business experience
Inventory Management experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers, and team members
Ability to implement and document processes
A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks, programs and projects successfully
Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, Tableau, Blue Yonder, and other Business Intelligence Platform

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
