JOB SUMMARY: This is a Revenue Specialist III Call Center Agent position in the General Tax Administration Program, Taxpayer Services Process, Collections Unit.
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting taxpayers with departmental billings, delinquencies, and audit assessments. The incumbent will also take appropriate action to resolve accounts, provide leadership to Revenue Specialist II's, conduct quality reviews, and provide training of system navigation.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
One year of experience in General Tax Administration's call center working at a Revenue Specialist II level or above
One year of experience researching, reviewing, and resolving complex Florida tax account issues utilizing System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX) system
One year of experience utilizing state and federal laws to research and resolve tax questions and issues for Sales and Use, Reemployment and Corporate Income Tax
Preference may be given for bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates

The successful applicant will be required to answer a large volume of calls up to 7.5 hrs. per day.
The successful applicant will be required to remain at their workstation, with the ability to leave only for morning break, lunch, afternoon break and necessary restroom breaks.
The successful applicant will be required to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
The successful applicant will be required to handle interruptions and maintain their responsibilities, while working in an open area.
SKILLS VERIFICATION TEST: All applicants who meet the screening criteria/minimum job requirements will be required to take a Skills Verification Test. Applicants must receive a score of at least 70% to be considered further.
