The Revenue Operations Analyst will analyze data and produce reports to support the revenue cycle leaders in their evaluation of the effectiveness of the revenue cycle and identify areas for improvement. The Analyst will track key performance indicators for Myriad Genetics Inc entities and identify root causes of successes or variances. These indicators will include:

  • Monthly results

  • Pre-authorization submissions

  • Denial rates

  • Medical record request rates

  • Appeal success

  • Software performance


The Analyst will be expected to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines for regular reporting cycles. Monthly reporting will have strict deadlines that may limit time off and require extra hours to meet deadlines.

The Analyst may also be asked to perform quality assurance audits of pre-authorization representatives, assist with project-based tasks and reporting and assist with fulfilling audit requests. Therefore, an understanding of healthcare revenue cycle will be critical to success in this role. This role reports to the Sr Manager of Business Intelligence in Revenue Operations. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.


Only applicants with a Bachelor's degree in a Business field, Informatics or Information Systems will be considered. Applicants with at least 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle functions is required. Experience using Xifin, Business Objects or Qlikview is preferred.

The Senior Revenue Operations Manager is an integral part of the Revenue Operations team, responsible for supporting key revenue drivers of the business. This person is expected to work hand in hand with partner teams on driving operational efficiencies, processes and analytics. This person will assist with identifying gaps in current processes, strategize solutions & drive implementation. Additionally the role is responsible for working with our BI team on defining the key metrics to help optimize and drive sustainability & growth for the revenue lines they support. This can include everything from sales performance to customer satisfaction and retention metrics. This person will work directly with our Client Services Support team (including Account Management and Customer Support in our newly built our Salt Lake City office). WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Partner with the businesses Client Support Service teams * Define and document processes, working with key stakeholders on identifying opportunities for simplification and scale. * Lead evaluation and implementation for tools & technology solutions for key business partners * Define and report on operating metrics.
