The Revenue Management Director leads the North American Revenue Management department of Gordon Food Service. Responsible for the creation, development and execution of components of cost, price, item and customer profitability strategies through collaboration with Home Office Shared Services, Business Unit and Divisional Leadership to drive improved profitability, working in alignment with Corporate objectives.

How you will make an impact:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of continuous and comprehensive North American Revenue Management Plan.

  • Leads and guides a team who advise and drive action, focusing on maximizing profitability.

  • Oversees the creation and delivery of monthly performance metrics to Business Unit leadership related to trending performance in key margin metrics related to cost and price.

  • Ensures the use of predictive reporting, trend analysis, cost change best practice management, and customer scorecard health to identify revenue management opportunities.

  • Oversees the management and execution of margin and pricing strategies, ensuring appropriate collaboration and connectivity between the Revenue Management team with Home Office Shared Services, Business Unit and Divisional Leadership .

  • Leverages third party data, internal analytics, market insights, cost change data for business use cases and the toolset necessary to drive improved performance in the area of Revenue Management.

  • Ensures collaboration with Home Office Shared Services, Merchandising and Business Units for conversion opportunities to maximize revenue within Division general product assortment.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • More than 5 years progressive experience in merchandising, food service marketing or a related field, with two or more years of previous management experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field required.

  • Ability to inject creativity, fresh thinking, and new perspectives into business approaches.

  • Social perceptiveness - awareness of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.

  • Judgment and decision making - considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
