Support team's responsibility to provide system-wide revenue analytics, charge monitoring, compliance and new program support. Uses healthcare billing and charging standard practices to evaluate results and build revenue, usage or project specific reports. Prepare analytics to identify salient decision points and communicate findings clearly.

  • Responsible for the monitoring and analysis of facility & professional gross revenue.

  • Gather and interpret financial data related to new and ongoing projects.

  • Proficient at finding and analyzing patterns and trends within the data.

  • Support chargemaster pricing and maintenance projects.

  • Is able to extract data from a number of systems in order to prepare reports on charges, variances, and forecasts.

  • Review data and reports for accuracy and reasonableness before distribution.

  • Communicate with people, internal and external to the department.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

  • Perform research to develop SQL statements and MS Excel formulas in completion of assigned report builds and analytics.

  • Ability to engage in multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED:

1.B.S. degree in Business or Health Administration.

2.Two (2) years of decision support or health care finance experience.

3.Demonstrated knowledge of computers and micro computer applications. 4. Skills in using Microsoft Office products; intermediate level ability with Excel & Access applications.

5.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

6.Demonstrated communication skills in written, reports and oral formats.

PREFERRED:

1.Master's in Business Administration or Health Administration.

2.Designation as Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

3.Strong knowledge of and experience with databases using SQL or other advance system languages. Adept at creating and managing complex queries.
