This position will be responsible for the development, design, administration and management of training programs, special projects, quality assurance, and compliance training. Completes skill assessments and reviews ongoing quality and productivity monitor, Involvement with testing and installation of system upgrades. This position will be responsible for administering training needs assessments, course development with appropriate materials, and coordination and planning of new and refresher training courses.
Participates in educational programs to meet mandatory requirements and identified needs with regard to job and personal growth. Navigates the Truman Medical Centers Patient Account Department in the planning, implementation and maintenance processes for the Revenue Cycle Systems.
Helps develop training modules and trains new employees on system functionality, as well as ongoing training for system updates. Performs system testing and some system maintenance.
Act as a liaison between patient account end users and information services technical staff regarding problem resolutions and project completion. Work closely with Administrative Services Team supporting Patient Financial Services Products and IT Support Center to ensure proper training is completed and employees are given appropriate

Bachelor Degree in healthcare field or equivalent knowledge required through a combination of higher education and experience.
Five years Patient Account experience to include working knowledge of a hospital's revenue cycle.
Knowledge and efficiency in software applications. Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint). Willing to become familiar with other software programs
Experience in working with Patient Accounts staff to train and educate on a variety of software, processes and customer service standards
Experience with the Cerner Revenue Cycle Systems
Requires advanced knowledge of healthcare financial data, revenue cycle processes, industry best practices
