The Revenue Cycle Trainer supports the accomplishment of Baylor Scott & White Health's (BSWH) strategic objectives by assisting with designing, developing, implementing and facilitating critical training and development services for Revenue Cycle employees. The Revenue Cycle Trainer develops, revises and maintains end user training manuals in support of Revenue Cycle computerized patient registration, appointment scheduling system, charge entry, billing systems and all associated applications. The Revenue Cycle Trainer trains Revenue Cycle curriculum according to expectations, standards and measurements that build employee competencies and support a high performance workforce. The Revenue Cycle Trainer designs and implements professional reference materials, including quick-step guides that assist and improve Revenue Cycle function utilizing Power Point, Excel, Word and Learning Management Systems (LMS). The Revenue Cycle Trainer compiles and analyzes data from LMS and distributes learning reports to key stakeholders. The Revenue Cycle Trainer collects assessment and client feedback data; analyzes with team to determine effectiveness of training and development solutions; uses feedback and evaluation data to make process improvement recommendations. The Revenue Cycle Trainer coordinates class administration: scheduling classes, posting classes on LMS, reserving rooms, ordering catering, sending communication, ordering supplies/printing, setting up classrooms, and managing evaluations. The Revenue Cycle Trainer conducts on-site facility training and audits that may require travel with evening and / or weekend classes. The Revenue Cycle Trainer serves as a resource for all Revenue Cycle to assist with policy standards. The Revenue Cycle Trainer assists with special revenue cycle projects as required. The Revenue Cycle Trainer performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.
The Revenue Cycle Trainer will possess strong problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills. The Revenue Cycle Trainer manages multiple priorities collaborates in a team environment and time management skills. The Revenue Cycle Trainer utilizes logical and scientific thinking to interpret technical data and solve a broad range of operations. The Revenue Cycle Trainer interprets data, identifies gaps, opportunities, recommends and develops action plans to improve business results. The Revenue Cycle Trainer collaborates and works effectively in cross-functional teams and present ideas/recommendations to others. The Revenue Cycle Trainer maintains confidentiality of protected health information and other sensitive information.
The ideal candidate for the Revenue Cycle Trainer role will be able to react effectively to unplanned circumstances, demands and challenges facing the hospital and in the particular assigned area of responsibility. The ideal candidate for the Revenue Cycle Trainer will be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess a certification in Adult learning.
