Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Revenue Cycle Supervisor in the Billing Department at Behavioral Health Network!

The goal of this role is to improve the efficiency, quality, and financial outcome of the third party Revenue Cycle within BHN!

This position can be worked fully remote -

  • Perform advanced, highly complex levels of technical and analytical reporting

  • Directly oversee third party Billing Representatives

  • Review outstanding aging on a regular basis to identify trends and assign workloads to staff as necessary.

  • Ensure integrity and timeliness of payments are received by all pay sources, identify and research deficiencies and inconsistencies for escalation and resolution

  • Act as a liaison between the Billing department and program staff, vendors, and payer representatives

What are we looking for in a Revenue Cycle Supervisor?

  • Associates degree or 3-5 years prior health care revenue cycle analyst experience (preferred).

  • 2-3 years management experience (required).

  • Ability to resolve conflict and delegate tasks within scope of work.

  • Ability to schedule, meet and maintain daily and monthly routines, as well as preserve the integrity of the EHR

  • Identify team goals and evaluate progress, in addition to coaching team members to achieve these goals

  • Extensive knowledge of medical insurance and an overall understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO, ACO, etc.) as well as billing and collections with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPC coding and medical terminology.

  • Understanding and ability to read and edit 5010 HIPAA transaction standards including, but not limited to, 837, 999, 277, and 835 file types.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with strong skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, etc.).

  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Possess analytical and problem solving skills

Quality Supervisors at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities: * 5 years of experience in the human services or related fields (required). * Prior supervisory or consultative experience in quality performance and assurance (required). * Considerable knowledge of principles of behavioral health, including the classification and treatment of mental health, addiction, and services for individuals with developmental delays. * Must be committed to consumer empowerment, growth, human rights, and community integration. * Must have a working knowledge of regulations and must be detail oriented. * Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in a related field or Licensed Registered Nurse preferred. * Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours.
