Reviews AR reports for CHS# facilities in order to make recommendations for early placement to PASI#s Insurance Department. Facilitates good will by building and sustaining positive communication between PASI and each CHS facility.
Assists both PASI and facility leaders with inquiries as a result of placed accounts through RCAP processing. #Preparation for new facility implementation to the RCAP process. Develops rapport and relationships with both the BOD and Regional Director for assigned facilities. Looks for areas within PASI and the facility to improve recovery rates.
Remains abreast of any changes with providers in relation to their assigned hospitals. Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. #Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. #Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. # Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word and preferred knowledge of FACS, Meditech, McKesson Series, AS400, HCAPA and McKesson Star. #Knowledge of PASI work flow Preferred EBOS Insurance Billing experience.
