Details:

• Under the direct supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager, the Revenue Cycle Management Generalist is responsible for assisting with revenue cycle management and customer service activities. Assists patients and Front Desk staff with clarification of patient accounts. Greets all customers pleasantly and with courtesy. Provides visitors with directions and information regarding available services and business procedures as required. Manages all communication with customers and escalates complex issues to manager for resolution.

Experience and Skills:

Education:

• Associate's Degree in health care or related field preferred

• High school diploma

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience in the health care setting with a call center or busy multi-line phone system

• Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid and other health insurance

• Knowledge of referral or prior authorization procedures

• Have extensive customer services experience

• Have a working knowledge of computer programs (electronic health record system)
