As the Implementation Director for the Nashville Physician Service Center, you will provide strategic leadership and oversee operations for the Implementation area. You will determine how the department impacts company and center strategy, and then develop operational tactics and processes at the department level to support the strategies. You will also proactively perform department analysis and collaboratively work with the managers to set department productivity and quality standards.

What you will do in this role:

  • Proactively perform analysis including preparation, escalation, financial impact assessment, and potential resolution to align with strategic goals.

  • Participate in payor, Payor Contracting and Alignment, and Division calls and meetings, including any needed preparation.

  • Monitor trends and communicate significant shifts in market or operating conditions to leadership.

  • Inform team's management and staff regarding payor requirements, significant changes, and developments.

  • Design, maintain and utilize reporting tools to track and review inventory, ensuring processes are moving through timely.

  • Actively participate in the Internal and External Audit.

  • Maintain working knowledge of Revenue Cycle, workflow, systems, and tools used in the department.

  • Create and facilitate succession and development plans for the department Managers.

  • Oversee operations of team's functions such as handling intake items, communicating with internal and external business partners and accurate routing of requests for resolution.

  • Keep COO informed of any significant developments within Implementation and Content management areas.


What qualifications you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required. If a desired applicant does not have a Bachelor's degree, the requirement can be waived if they are currently in a Bachelor's degree program.
  • A minimum five years' healthcare management experience with three of these years in the related area for the position is required.

It's hard to pinpoint a "typical" day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but as the AVP, Implementation you will oversee all implementation consulting team members and processes, all new site and new product implementation team members and processes, and all implementation project management team members and processes. This position is responsible for planning and directing activities to align with overall corporate and clinical policies in order to maintain operational efficiency and service excellence. This position directs and develops high performing teams to deliver on established objectives, goals, strategies and measures. What You'll Do for Us: * Maintains a strategic focus on client satisfaction and demonstrates the ability to proactively identify client needs during consulting and new implementations. * Identifies global processes to improve overall performance of implementation consulting, new site/service implementations and implementation project management and defines innovative measurements of performance standards. * Demonstrates strong business acumen and knowledge of staffing, capacity, ROI, budget, margins, service and product offerings, to implement and drive strategic and relevant operational outcomes. * Strategically identifies and solves complex implementation problems effectively with an emphasis on developing proactive approaches utilizing internal (corporate and regional) support. * Actively responds to urgent implementation issues. * Delivers products and initiatives supporting strategic goals. * Reviews best practices and holistic effectiveness of implementation systems, support, and structure. * Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage complex implementations. * Provides effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring of Director, Manager, and individual contributor level within the implementation team. * Establishes regular communication across the team and the organization to ensure effective cascade of information. * Business partner for sales and new opportunity process. * Oversees the indirect management of all implementation consulting and new site/service implementations. * Indirectly manages the relationship of new and existing clients during the implementation phase. * Indirectly manages (direct and indirect) up implementation consulting, implementation managers, and implementation project managers.
